Curious about music therapy as a possible future career?

We welcome students, families, and others who are exploring the profession and want to learn more about what music therapists do, how to become a music therapist, and what the work can look like in real-world settings.

Our team enjoys helping people learn about the profession. Depending on availability, we may be able to offer opportunities to connect with a team member to ask questions about:

• education and training requirements
• college and internship pathways
• board certification
• what a typical workday may look like
• different populations and settings served by music therapists
• what we value about the profession and the work we do
