Tiny Voices, Growing Minds is an interactive, recreation-based music class designed and facilitated by a board-certified music therapist that is specifically designed for infants and their caregiver(s). Each music class incorporates fingerplays, lullabies, new textures and sounds, and movement to music along with infant-directed singing using songs to engage participants.
While the infants are the center and focus of this class, time will be spent sharing ideas with caregivers on how to maximize the use of music throughout their day with the child. A large goal of this class is to offer caregivers expanded confidence in using music to ease transitions, modify moods, and increase engagement with their child.
This class is specifically designed for children who have yet to celebrate their first birthday. We ask that older children register for our Little Voices, BIG Minds class (a recreational music class for children ages 1 – 5). If you are looking for music programming that is goal oriented, please check out our Do, Re, Mi for Birth to Three music therapy group.
